Rebates for New Propane Water Heaters

Illinois Saves with Propane offers hundreds of dollars in rebates to reimburse homeowners and HVAC contractors/plumbers for the purchase of new propane hot water heaters in Illinois. Check out this page to learn more about qualifying equipment, rebate program details, and more.

What Rebates Are Available?

Rebates are available for the safe installation of the following new propane hot water heaters:

A maximum of $300 per residence may be claimed per year.

How Can I Receive a Rebate?

All rebate and incentive applications must be submitted by your Illinois propane provider to qualify.  If you have purchased a qualifying propane hot water heater, contact your propane provider to apply.

Funding for this program is made available by Illinois Propane Education & Research Council and is administered by the Illinois Propane Gas Association. Application for this program will be accepted for consideration from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. This program will only be offered as long as funds are available: the IPGA reserves the right to suspend the program at any time it determines funds are being exhausted.
